Confession Of The Day: Overcome The Battles!
Sitting here trying to figure out how I would like to share this confession with you guys but instead of overthinking it and feeling a need of being all extra perfectioney (I know that's not a word), I will just share it how I wrote it in my journal. Ok, lets talk about battles and struggles, how do you defeat them? When difficult situations arise do you crumble or conquer? Do you panic or pray? I will go first in sharing my truth and that is I use to do a little of both. But the real truth is that I found out that I was handling the battles the wrong way, you can not crumble and panic but you must pray and conquer in all situations and on every occasion. As I recently went through a hard trial I had to remind myself and actually tell myself this phrase, "Don't allow the battle to overcome you, because you have what it takes to overcome the battle". Now let's pray and conquer this battle the right way.
Ok, now let's get to that confession,
I will not allow myself to get distressed. I will not allow myself to worry and I will not allow this battle to make me feel afraid, defeated and cause me to panic because greater is in me than he who is in this world. God reminds us that in this world we will have many difficulties but Jesus has overcome the world. This tells me that we have power to overcome every difficult situation, battle and trial that comes up against us. So I will not crumble and I will not panic when battles come up against me. I WILL continue to trust in the Lord with all my heart and I will not depend on what I think I know. (I will not depend on what the circumstance tries to make me believe because my faith says I will make it through it stronger than before the circumstance arrived). I will depend on Christ and what his word says which is true because I know I can depend on God and that he will make the path straight, He will comfort and strengthen me through the trial and provide me with peace and joy as I walk through the trial. So that is where my faith will stand, on Christ and his word. Christ is the Almighty King, his grace is sufficient and my weaknesses is made strong in Him. I actually have everything within me to overcome this battle that is in front of me. God thank you for your mighty power you have given me to defeat this battle and everyone of them that rises up against me. The battle is won and victory belongs to me. I now realize that I WIN! "Wow, God all along I was trying to fight these battles on my own, no wonder I was all tired and not in my right thinking". But Thanks to our Almighty God he did not leave me to fight or figure out this battle on my own. So I will continuously rest in the Savior and dwell in the Almighty and this is how I will fight my battles from now on. #FullyEquiped Yes, I am spiritually equipped to defeat what is trying to defeat me. No weapon formed against me shall ever prosper and if God is all I have then I am fully equipped with all that I need.

Psalm 91:1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Isaiah 54:17 But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me, I, the Lord, have spoken!
